Add New Polygon

Create New Polygon on the Map

1. Login to WP
2. Click the Maps menu item
3. Click the Edit button under the Action column for map ID 1
4. Click the Polygons link
5. Above the list of polyline entries, click the Add Polygon link
6. Left click on the map to start the polyline
7. Continue to draw the polyline using left clicks
8. To end the polyline, double click
9. Update the Name in the Polyline Editor
10. Do not update the Title field as it will automatically show on the map
11. Select the Normal tab
12. Change the fill and line color by clicking on the color swatch
    1. Use the left right arrows below the color when to arrive at the HEX setting
    1. Use the values for the normal polygon type:
       1. Safety:
          1. Fill #ff6d22 .6 Opacity
          1. Line #ff6d22 1 Opacity
       1. Micromobility:
          1. Fill #004280 .6 Opacity
          1. Line #004280 1 Opacity
       1. Transit:
          1. Fill #07bcf8 .6 Opacity
          1. Line #07bcf8 1 Opacity
       1. Freight:
          1. Fill #22c188 .6 Opacity
          1. Line #22c188 1 Opacity
13. Select the Hover tab
14. Change the fill and line color by clicking on the color swatch
    1. Use the left right arrows below the color when to arrive at the HEX setting
    1. Use the values for the hover polygon type:
       1. Safety:
          1. Fill #ff6d22 .8 Opacity
       1. Micromobility:
          1. Fill #004280 .8 Opacity
       1. Transit:
          1. Fill #07bcf8 .8 Opacity
       1. Freight:
          1. Fill #22c188 .8 Opacity
15. Set the Line Thickness to 4
16. Click the Save Polygon button
17. Click the Save Map button
18. The newly created polyline will have the highest ID in the list
    1. If not already sorted, sort on the ID field
19. Note the ID, as that will need to be put into the featured project Map Id field.
