Add New Map Marker (point)

  1. Login to WP
  2. Click the Maps menu item
  3. Click the Edit button under the Action column for map ID 1
  4. Click the Markers link
  5. Above the list of Marker entries, click the Add Maker link
  6. Right click on the map to set the marker location
  7. Update the Title in the Marker Editor
  8. In the Category section, check the proper category checkbox (this will set the icon for the marker)
    1. Marker colors by category
      1. – Safety
      1. – Micromobility
      1. – Transit
      1. – Freight
  9. Click the Add Marker button
  10. Click the left-facing arrow in the upper section of the Marker Editor to go back to the list of map markers
  11. Click the Save Map button
  12. The newly created marker will have the highest ID in the list
    1. If not already sorted, sort on the ID field
  13. Note the ID as that will need to be put into the featured project Map Id field.
